Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) 

Regulations

The Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASR) pertaining to aerodromes are located in CASR Part 139. 

Manual of Standards (MOS)

Certified and Registered Aerodromes are subject to the requirements of the Manual of Standards - Part 139 Aerodromes.   Section 10.14 of the MOS contains the standards relating to Bird and Animal Hazard Management.

Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB)

In 2008, the ATSB released a report analysing the birdstrikes that were reported between the years 2002 and 2006.  Please click on the following link to access this  report: ATSB bird strike report (2002-2006)

In 2003, the ATSB released a research paper on the Hazard Posed to Aircraft by Birds.
